This September you walked in multiple shows during New York Fashion Week. How did it feel stepping onto those runways?

Walking at NYFW was both humbling and empowering. Each show represented years of work from designers and teams, and being trusted to embody those visions was a privilege. What struck me most was how different each runway felt—some were sleek and minimal, others dramatic and theatrical. For me, it wasn’t just about modeling clothes; it was about becoming part of a designer’s narrative and contributing to the energy of the moment.

Outside of the runway, you attended several exclusive industry events and after-parties. What stood out to you about those experiences?

The events are where the creative side of fashion collides with the community side. You see designers, editors, stylists, and artists in one space, exchanging ideas in such an organic way. What stood out to me was the level of artistry in personal style, even off the runway, people treated fashion like a form of communication. It reminded me that fashion is not only an industry but also a language.

How do you prepare differently for walking a runway versus attending an event as a guest?

Preparation is entirely different. For the runway, I become very focused, it is important to understand the designer’s vision and mentally prepare myself to perform with precision and confidence. It’s not about me; it’s about honoring their work. For events, there’s more freedom. I use those moments to express who I am as a woman and as a creative. It’s an opportunity to let my personal style speak and show a different side of my personality and my style.

People are describing this as your new "fashion era." How would you define it?

I see this era as intentional and unapologetic. I’m drawn to pieces that combine strength with subtlety and textures that demand attention but still feel wearable. I’m in a stage of life where I’m prioritizing authenticity, and I think my wardrobe reflects that. I love this new era.

How do you curate looks for front-row appearances?

I always begin by considering the designer whose show I’m attending. Their creative DNA deserves to be honored in my choices, so I make sure there’s a dialogue between my look and their work. Then I add my personal touch, whether that’s through accessories, layering, or a bold statement piece. I like the idea that each look becomes a conversation between my individuality and the brand’s artistry.

Modeling often blurs the line between self-expression and interpretation. How has it shaped your identity?

Modeling has taught me adaptability and discipline, but more importantly, it’s taught me the value of presence. On one hand, you’re constantly adapting walking for a designer requires you to become a different version of yourself. But at the same time, you learn to hold on tightly to your own identity, so you don’t lose your grounding. That balance has been central to my growth—not just as a model, but as a woman navigating an industry that demands both strength and vulnerability.

You’ve also been part of reality TV. How does that compare to the world of high fashion?

Reality TV and fashion are almost two different universes. Reality TV thrives on exposure and raw emotion, while fashion is about refinement and precision. In both, you are performing in front of an audience, but the emotional demands are different. Reality TV required me to be open in ways that were uncomfortable at times. Fashion, on the other hand, requires discipline and artistry. Both experiences shaped me, but fashion is where I feel the most aligned with my creative voice.

Has your reality TV background prepared you for the visibility and scrutiny of fashion?

Absolutely. Being in the public eye on television forced me to grow thick skin early on. It taught me how to handle criticism, how to engage with different types of audiences, and how to remain authentic even when people form their own narratives about you. Those lessons have been invaluable in fashion, where eyes are always on you. Instead of feeling intimidated, I lean into the visibility as a chance to show consistency in who I am.

Which designers or houses resonate most deeply with your personal style?

I’ve always been drawn to designers who play with duality—strength and elegance, structure and fluidity. Houses like Mugler, Balenciaga, and Loewe resonate with me because they understand the body as a canvas. They challenge movement, create drama, and yet remain wearable. I’m inspired by designers who make you feel powerful the moment you step into their clothes.

Looking forward, what excites you most about your trajectory in fashion?

I’m excited about pushing boundaries, walking in international fashion weeks, collaborating with emerging designers, and using my platform to amplify diverse voices in the industry. But beyond the opportunities, what excites me most is the idea of evolution. I don’t want to remain static. Every season, every show, every campaign should feel like a new chapter, and I’m committed to staying in motion.

If you could distill your identity in this moment into one phrase, what would it be?

"Fearlessly evolving.” Every opportunity, whether in fashion, television, or beyond, has been part of my growth. I’m embracing the unknown with confidence and reminding myself that change is not something to resist—it’s something to celebrate.

When readers see your Grazia cover and spread, what do you hope they take away?

I hope they see someone who is multifaceted—someone who has embraced her past, is rooted in the present, and is optimistic about the future. Fashion is my current language, but beyond the clothes, I want readers to see a woman who is continually shaping her narrative on her own terms.
